Urban TEC conducts technology training for students and professional development programs for teachers out of the Central Academy of Excellence.
ArtsTech’s mission is to better the lives of underserved urban youth through the development of marketable artistic and technical skills.
ArtsTech offers a Computer Redistribution Program for disadvantaged, handicapped and "at-risk" populations as well as the organizations that serve them.

The HEDC Computer Lab curriculum is a 12 hour course completed in 3 weeks. The course includes a basic digital literacy program essential to the understanding of a computer and its components. The course is appropriate for individuals who have little or no computer knowledge. The curriculum comprises of basic knowledge of Windows 7, Internet usage, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Publisher. Classes take place 2 times per week in 2 hour increments.
New classes take place each month. Individuals interested in participating in a computer class may contact our office.
Reconciliation Services offers Wi-Fi covering all the bus stops at 31st and Troost. Their Internet cafe (1st floor) offers PCs and computer assistance on Wednesdays and Fridays from 1-5 p.m.
Free basic computer skills offered on Sat., 1pm - 2pm.

Regular classes are offered for a fee for persons age 50 and over. Fees range from $19 to $37.50.
